At enCORE Therapy
We strive to help women better understand their symptoms of leakage, prolapse, pelvic pain and diastasis recti, all while creating an individualized plan of care tailored to their goals.
Owner & Physical Therapist
Kelsey Beach, DPT, CMTPT
Hi! I am Kelsey Beach, owner of enCORE Therapy & Performance. I started my journey with physical therapy in 2011 after earning my doctorate of Physical Therapy from Southwest Baptist University and jumping head first into pelvic health rehab. I knew it was the special niche of PT I wanted to put my efforts into. In 2014 I completed my first triathlon – I was in love. Slowly my passion for pelvic health rehab wove itself into running mechanics and functional mobility for athletics. I stopped looking not only at myself and my patients as single symptom cases, but whole body connections and breaking down how the joint affected the center of movement: the core.
Then in 2020, I experienced my first pregnancy. I was blown away by the lack of education pregnant women received about the physical changes their bodies went through during pregnancy. Also the lack of education on how to use your body to prepare your body for your ideal birth experience. I came to slowly put all the pieces of the puzzle together of pelvic rehab, functional mobility and pregnancy - then enCORE was born.
Physical Therapist
Kellie Lawton, DPT, OCS, COMT
Kellie Lawton, PT, DPT completed her Doctorate in Illinois, at Governors State University, and has been working since 2012 to provide better individualized health care and global health awareness. She wants women struggling with injuries, pain, or chronic conditions to be validated and supported. She has extensive experience in the outpatient world and is a board-certified specialist in orthopedics.
Following her own pregnancy and postpartum journey she fell into the false narrative that postpartum mothers just had to tolerate all the physical changes that commonly go along with motherhood. She was disappointed that pelvic floor physical therapy was not talked about more in those early postpartum phases. It was later in her journey that difficult health challenges forced her to consider and appreciate the role of pelvic health in total body function and healing.
Kellie is excited to support women and advocate for individualized care. Her evaluation process is designed to get to the root cause of your pain and limitations. She strives to help women achieve long lasting strategies that promote resiliency and comprehensive health and wellness.
Physical Therapist
Courtney Steiner, DPT, OCS
Courtney began her career as a Doctor of PT at Johns Hopkins in 2016. There, Courtney was able to not only get a high level training and mentorship in the world of orthopedic physical therapy, but she also began delving into extensive education and mentorship in the world of pelvic health.
Since moving back to Kansas in 2019, Courtney has been able to further her training and experience in the world of pelvic health. Nothing has taught her more about this than becoming a mama in 2021. If she wasn’t convinced before, she is now all the more amazed at what women can accomplish.
Courtney’s mission is to meet each and every person where they are, walk alongside them in their recovery, and create a foundation of knowledge and a plan that they can use in an approachable and functional way throughout their lifetime. Courtney hopes that you leave each session empowered, comforted, and having learned something new. We all deserve care and attention to our pelvic health, no many how many months or years postpartum you may be.
